COCO’S Patisserie

This little Patisserie makes up for it’s size with the quality of the amazing food they sell. I would recommend everything, but in particular, the Vanilla Slice (to die for), The Croissant, and the amazing pastries. The staff and the owner will make you feel like you belong, and, provided you have the capacity provide you some of the best treats. That coffee maker on the right is also a quiet hero. “Dotryit”. They are located in Koornang Rd. Carnegie. Melb. Vic.

Heather Ewart

Heather Ewart has been a journalist and TV presenter over a period of some 40 years with the ABC in Australia. I was blessed to meet her and take this picture, one of my favourites. I hope she will like this and will bring her as much or even more joy that this brings me. Meeting her and her husband Barrie was a highlight of my life and I will always be grateful for their kindness.

Every line and wrinkle tells a story

Melbourne. I was very fortunate to see this wonderful old lady standing on the corner of Swanston and Bourke Sts. She was trying to escape the madding crowd and sheltered in a doorway. I approached her and asked for permission to take this photograph and she very kindly agreed. I hope she gets to see this and will like it. I am deeply grateful to her for the opportunity.

The WoodFrog Bakery – Elsternwick. Vic

This fabulous bakery has been around for a while now, Started in an old furniture shop in St. Kilda. I visit the outlet in Elsternwick to buy our treasured Spelt Sourdough. The staff are fantastic. If you can escape without buying some Date Scones, Spelt fruit Scones and Fruit Buns, you will be a stronger person than I am. Having said this, the other breads and produce they offer is first rate too. Please do yourself a favour and visit. Watch out for the parking conditions on the Main Street. The Parking Inspector has no sense of humour, and tends to hide in the building opposite with his spyglass firmly fitted to his Monocle.
